Default Dual straight pipes???

Hi everyone,

I was considering putting on a catback system on my truck however for the price of what I can get one up in Canada for I'm thinking that I may be further off to do dual exhaust from where the y pipe joins and go back. I was jsut wandering if anyone has done this or has encountered any problems?

I have the system LMCtrucks.com has that I put on my truck. I have no CATS, it goes straight from the Y pipe back to another y pipe and splits out the back. No muffs, just resonator tips. I like it and I found substantial gains in high end torque. Not loud at idle, but when I stomp it, that thing ROARS

You will lose low end torque. If you have a cammed motor then go for it, otherwise a catback will do just fine. These motors need back pressure.
