the rpo for gm limited slip is G80 ..and no,it does not have to be 4wd

i beleive it means regular production option they will usually be found in truck glove boxes adhered to the the bottom of the inside right where everything sits on it. it has all the options that that truck has on it including gear ratio interior color and style and exterior paint and trim options if it has leather seatspowere mirrors what engine it hasand all other stuff like that. they are very helpful

chevy112488- if you are looking for a locker in the rear you can engage go wit the ARB locker set up. The locker engages with air. The kit comes with a lil compressor that could fit on the side of the frame andi know some people actually put a lil plate under it to protect it. It is a controlled with a switch that u could mount it wherever u want. I have a limited slip in the rear and I just found out I have one in the front too. Pretty cool when you are kickin sand in the air with all four tires. Usually people don't put a locker in the front diff cause the turning becomes hard.
