ok so Im new here and electrical has never "been" my thing but I have greatly improved over the last 10 yrs of wrenching....anyhoo I installed a cooling fan on my 97 suburban and have it wired into the power distro box under the hood but was hoping to maybe wireit through a relay and possibly the coolant temp switch (yes I know they make kits for that but Im CHEAP) but I think the temp switch works off of resistance and would probably burn up the motor..................any ideas???????????????
