Those multi-carb setups are more for looking than for cooking. Nowadays a single 4bbl can do everything a multi-carb setup can do better & cheaper.

To make low-end torque, a dual plane manifold like an Edelbrock Performer. And the carb should probably stay smaller. No larger than a 650 with vacuum secondaries. Larger or mechanical secondaries will flood the engine when you gun it at low RPM's. Edelbrock sells the carbs already amtched to the manifold if you decide to go that way. If you have TBI on the truck already, Edelbrock has a Performer TBI manifold. Easy swap.

Hey man Im starting to finish the exhaust. I already have a flow master cat back system. Can replace the cat with the thrush tube on this link Dynomax Exhaust Thrush Glasspack Muffler - Muffler - Performance Exhaust - Performance Parts - by 4 Wheel Parts and if not could you give me a link that shows me what you're talking about

yes you can replace the cats with thrush tubes or cherry bombs it may rob you of low end torque thow i have done that on mycar its loud even ewith the stock mufflers on there ill upload some pictures tomorrow of how i did it

i just posted the pitures of my exsaust fro you to look at if you want
its of my car not my truck
but as you will see in the picture the cats arent there and instead thrush tubes with the stock mufflers after it
hope this gives you some idea of what ya wanna do
keep us posted eather way

hooker headers are the only ones i really know also i think eldelbrock makes them
but personally ive allways like the hooker headers since i was little i like there products durable and they have been around for many more years then the compition
