my engine light came on the other day had it scanned today and it was the knock senesor what could be the cause of this? its a 2006 sierra 2500hd 6.0 2wd with 157k runs great had the code earased only drove it few miles no light,, is the sensor outside the block? easy to change? Thanks

 

Yes its outside the block and relatively simple to replace

Did they move them on the newer 6.0's? My 2001 was under the upper intake and there was 2 of them.
