Default Engine will not turn off!

2001 Silverado with 105K miles. After riding my motorcyle to work for the last few days I needed to drive my truck. I opened the door and my radio turned on... I started it and checked my signals, the right was a solid light but left worked. Next I turned off my ignition and the truck kept running with the key removed. I let off the brake and the engine turned off. Next I pressed the brake while no key and engine not running and the door ring occurred and my radio turned on. While driving it felt like it was in 3rd low... It must be the computer going bad? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance for your help.

Good luck, man. Electrical is almost always a per-hour charge

Almost guaranteed its the ignition switch!! The power to the tranny's electrical comes from the ignition switch. So the tranny is running in limp mode cuz it doesn't have the sufficient power to it.

I dropped my truck off at my local shop and I found out it was the turn signal switch.... total cost of repair... $970.45. Not too happy about it...
