Default Estimate $2000

Ok so im getting the rust fixed on my truck. I have been to a few places to get quotes so far.
What I need is the cab corners fixed as well as a patch job on the bottoms of the doors. Its not too bad other than on the pass side cab corner where there is a pretty sizable whole. Everything else is under or barely visible.

Here are the quotes:
$2000 - replacement pannals and repaint (2shops said this)
$4000 for whole new doors and cab corners (I dont think so! That guy must becrazy!!!)

I know you guys prob arent experts on this but does this sound right or should I keep looking? I have never had body work done before so im no sure. Any help would be great.

Thanks.

That sounds about right. It usually cost around 1500 for a job like that on a small car or small truck.

Well good news I just remembered my best friends dad is a sales rep to body shops and dealerships for all of their supplies. I just talked to him and he said he is going to take a look at it this weekend and work a deal with someone he knows. Im hopping ill be able to get the parts and materials at cost along with discounted labor.
