i have a 1995 z71 and i was wandering what true duals with 3 inch dia. pipes,and 5.5 in. tips would sound like?

 

very loud and aggressive. probably about as loud as you can get on that.

 

It will sound good. I had similar setup on my 93'. But I would suggest 2.5" pipes, and an x-pipe. Also 5" tips don't change hte sound and may look funny. 3" tips look great though, you aren't running a rice burner so why look like it.

 

I agree with smoke that the 5" tips might look a little funny. go with the 3"

 

with dual 3's youre gonna lose some back pressure, you should go with 2 1/2's and stick with the three inch tips the 5's are ridiculous and dont forget the crossover pipe ( H or X)
