I recently totaled my Tahoe and just purchased a O7 Sierra with the 6.0L Vortex Max. I had wheels, BFG Mudterrains KM2's, Superchip, K&N intake, dual exhaust etc etc on the Tahoe, now I have to start all over!! My question is with the AFM, (active fuel management) can you still put dual exhaust on this truck? I have heard that when it shifts to 4 cylinder, it sounds bad and there are issues with the back pressure with dual exhaust. I am not planning on having true dual exhaust just Y'ed out of the back. I asked a chevy mechanic and he wasn't sure of an answer. Any help would be appreciated!!!

I have a 2007 Sierra with the 6.0 - I put on the Corsa cat back system. They offer two different levels - I got the more aggressive of the two and I love it. Not to obnoxious at idle and when driving around town it has a nice tone. But when you hammer it... It really sounds great!!!!! The tone at WOT does not distort stays crisp. Sounds great on a cold start up. I hope this helps - I would suggest going to the Corsa web site and listen to there sounds page the sounds really do the exhaust systems justice.
