I have a 2016 Silverado with a 5.3 v8 and Ive been looking at the Borla ATAK exhaust system. If I were to get a whole new exhaust system I would go all in and get this one. My only dilemma is the price is around $1100. I also have been looking at mufflers because they are a lot cheaper and I like the idea of keeping the stock exhaust pipe/tip minus the muffler swap. I just wanted to get an opinion on what the major differences are between a new exhaust system and just a muffler swap. Is there a muffler that gets close to sounding like the Borla ATAK exhaust system?
