Hello everybody.
I purchased a GM 3 year extended warranty when I bought my Chevy Silverado 2500 HD in Winnipeg Manitoba, year 2007. The salesman failed to register the extended warranty and I did not know this until a few months ago. The point of my story is that GM will not honour the 3 year warranty I purchased and instead is "willing" to offer me a 2 year warranty after I jump though some hoops for them. They claim that they have no way of knowing what warranty I received for the $2335.00 that I paid. Surely they must have it on record somewhere, but are not willing to look it up.
If anyone has purchased a similar truck in Canada (Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4x4, extended cab, long box with the 6 liter gas engine) and also bought the 3 year total plus extended warranty and is willing to provide something on paper to help me with my trouble I would greatly appreciate it. Any and all help/advice would be excellent.
