The only excuse thatI can come up with for the loser Ford's ride n' a Chevy's bumper is habit. Maybe they are so used to being behind us that they are scared to get out in front? Just a thought...

Kinda like battered women's syndrome.

Hey smoke!! It does snow a lot here, but it is usually gone in a couple of days. However, this winter has been the exception. We got slammed in December with over 2 feet and that **** is still on the ground. To answer your question, hell yeah they run ricers here. You know, 20 foot high spoilers, fart cans for an exhaust system, 486 stickers to include "NOS," hell the stickers alone had about 350hp and 910lb/ft! It is funny to watch! I try to not judge because I believe "to each its own," but man sometimes you can't help to laugh. Especially when they pull up beside you and rev there 4 banger. It sounds like 4 mentally handicap mules pulling a plow. They usually shut up when I unleash the 5.3L for them, but there are the few who want to run. Take care and keep smokin them smoke!!

That is the funniest thing I have heard in a while. I really needed that as well as worked has pretty much drained me lately. To many bull**** emergencies in too short a time.

GD, I can't wait until July so I can order my '08 Silvy!!

Plans: 2008 Silverado 1LT (Bench Seats kick-***) Crew Cab 4x4, 5.3L, 4.10 gears, Borla Dual Performance Exhaust, K&N FIPK, Superchips Tuner, and HOPEFULLY the 6L80 Tranny.

You guys ever seen those vidz of Parish and his twin-turbo Silvy? If you go to YouTube.com and search for "turbo silverado" you will see him racing (and destroying) some Mustangs & 'Vettes. Better yet, let me go find his homepage...

OK, here it is (shows his old truck): http://www.neufamily.org/truck.html (has some vids and specs).

peace.

Yep, Parish has a sick Z-71. He recently twined turboed it, so I can't wait until he posts some more videos.

smjhays - make sure you get the 4.10, the dealer may try to talk you out of it since the 3.42 is easier for them to find. They will use the reason "you get 2-4 more mpg". I screwed up and got mne with the 3.42, forgetting briefly that I was gonna put bigger tires on anyway. What a bone head move!! It is OK though, my truck seems fast anyway, just would like a little more on the hills with a trailer.
