Can anyone tell me how I can take the wirning harness off the back of my 2003 sierra stereo. I want to take out the factory stereo and put in an aftermarket one, but I cant seem to get the wiring harness that is attached to my current stereo off. Any ideas???

 

Uhh if your talking about your deck, they should just pop out, they have snap clips holding them in. Im looking at my old deck and i dont see anywhere there could be a saldered wire harness... hope i helped! good luck.

 

to put a new stereo in you gotta buy a wiring harness converterthat runs about $125

 

Use your man muscle and pull the clip out. Shouldn't be too difficult.

 

there's a little clip on the bottom side of the harness. just push it down and pull the harness away from the stereo.
