I have a 08 silverado 4wd that i bought used and didnt have the tow hooks on it. I was wondering were I could buy oem tow hooks. I searched google but didnt find any good sites. Also are the oem hooks open or closed.

I believe they are open tow hooks and OEM tow hooks can be purchased from teh dealership. Or you could go to a 4X4 aftermarket shop and see if they have any they took off a truck. I personally would get some aftermarket tow hooks, because they are stronger. I have heard several people state teh OEM tow hooks are weak and break and I have seen a few break too. Just my .02 cents.

 

hey, I have a new set of tow hooks off my 06 Silverado. As soon as I got the truck, i had a brush guard installed, and they had to remove the hooks., they have been sitting in my garage ever since.
