i had always thought 3dr silverado and sierra ext cabs were not offered until 1999, when they introduced the NBS, but yesterday saw an OBS 3dr sierra ... when were 3dr first offered?

 

My son has a '97 - 3 door extra cab. This was the only picture that I could find of the passenger side door.

 

Im pretty sure that GMC came out with the 3rd in 1995 and Chevy not till 1996.. but i only know that from looking at other peoples trucks on craigslist, forums, ext. Maybe it was a custom order thing up until 1997 because my 1997 chevy has it
