hey there im just looking for my first pickup truck i think ive got a good contender (95 c1500) its a shortbox and a great project for this summer! ne ways my question is how to do you mount cb antennas on these things? the non magnetic ones. budget of $100

 

I hope that you mean that your CB radio budget is $100 and not the truck budget correct?

i've drilled into the bedliner (no ground, bad option), the side of the bed itself (worked great, but you've got four holes in the bed forever), and toolbox (best option in my book, grounds decently and leaves no permanent marks)

and i got a cobra 29 classic, four foot fiberglass antenna, pa speaker and all necessary wiring off ebay for $100 a few years ago. i'd look into that.

also forgot: drill into rear bumper... but again that leaves permanent holes

 

@92chevysilvy yha not for the truck lol i wish i could get a 95 for 100 bucks! no it's for the wiring and antenna im looking for 100 bucks!

@chevy112488 thanks man! that's what i was thinking the same thing going into the toolbox makes sense and greatly less visible!
