Default fitch fuel catalyst

Im new to this forum so idk if there is already a post about this. I tried looking but got bored so i just decided to post myself.

Has anyone heard of or tried the fitch fuel catalyst? i see it in truck magazines and on summit racing but i have heard of anyone actually installing one. In case u havent heard of it:

The Fitch Fuel Catalysts transform gasoline and diesel into superior quality fuel. Get more performance out of your engines for lessless money, less pollution, and less maintenance headaches. The Fitch Fuel Catalysts are permanent fuel treatment devices that reformulate fuel, resuscitate partially oxidized fuel, and suppress the growth of bacteria in fuel. Fitch Fuel Catalysts ensure that all fuel delivered to combustion engines is in optimal condition, allowing the engines to extract the maximum amount of energy with minimal emissions per kg of fuel. Once fuel has been refined, it sits in a holding tank, is pumped into transport vehicles, is shipped worldwide, sits in the holding tank at a gas station, and then you purchase it. That fuel refined as 93 octane has substantially lost its potency and freshness. The Fitch Fuel Catalysts help return gas station grade gasoline or diesel fuel back to its refinery-fresh state for increased fuel economy and performance. Fitch Fuel Catalysts offer a better quality of fuel, which translates into better engine performance. The Fitch Fuel Catalysts are maintenance-free devices that are warranted for 250,000 miles. The Fitch Fuel Catalysts can easily be installed in the fuel line, much like a fuel filter, or directly into the fuel tank.

I just wanted to know if anyone new any real results about this. Thanks.

Its something you install permanently. I think diesel truck magazine did a test on the fitch fuel catalyst. They did a 7000 mile test towing a heavy load before install and then after install. They said they had about 1.5 mpg improvement on their rig. Fitch fuel catalyst doesn't claim to have huge MPG improvements so its more believable. But they do claim to take the impurities out of the fuel and somehow turn them into go go juice. I think that this would be good in places like California where we get really ****ty gas and i think it would be invaluable in a high hp forced induction application as pre detonation is more likely. I vote yes on this one. Really easy install and good preventive maintenance.

I heard you can run 87 octane in a 5.7 GTO (they require 90 and up to run properly) with one of these fitch things and it will run the same as using 90+

I have been doing all kinds of research on Diesel trucks and on Bio-Diesel in real world applications. I have seen many shows with product highlights highlighting this product. I have heard nothing but good things, if I was planning on keeping my truck I would look siriously into putting one on my truck. When I get a newer truck, then I will have to really look into having one of these on my muti-fuel truck (Bio-diesel/Diesel & Waste Vegitible Oil), but I don't know how well it will catilyse (don't know if I spelled that one right?) the W.V.O.

Speaking of Bio fuels, I am under the impression that to run E85 in my truck I would need a fuel pump and fuel lines, and fuel system gaskets that would be "ethanol proof". Think it would be worth the conversion?

in my opinon, no. the price of gas is going down (3.29 where I live) and is getting pretty close to e85 prices anyway. besides, i wouldn't be surprised if e85 disappears within the next 10 years anyway.

Ok, well I figured if we had another gas price explosion again I could just make due with E85. But I know E85 doesn't get the same mileage as 97 and up.
