Hey Guys
I was wondering if anyone here has taken the pick-up box off a half ton and put on a flat deck

I have a 08 chevy crew cab with the short box and am thinking about taking it off and putting on a 6ft deck on it

if you have done something like this what did you use, a old deck off another truck, get one custom build or build it yourself?

I'm thinking of using a car hauler trailer frame that was in a accident that is going to be to much work to try and fix up
