Default Flex-a Lite Fan Installation - HELP!

1999 Silverado LT w/ 4.8
Monster Fan #292
This is turning out harder than I thought it would be.

Question: Where is the best ignition positive signal for junction #9? Just need a HOT when key is ON from somewhere in engine compartment. Does not seem possible to take signal from any fuse inside the fuse box as suggested.

Question: How do you determine if theA/C clutch is activated by a positive or negative signal?

Thanks for any suggestions,
Stephen

maybe there is a "courtesy" fuse, power brake, power steering, or windshield wiper fuse you can tap into.

Surely there is a slot in the underhood box you can use...if not,run a wire inside to the convenience center....its down by the brake pedal..(No fuses in it,just some plugs and empty holes to use for this purpose)

The a/c...it is asking this...the truck either has a continuos ground and the relay turns on power......ORit has continuous power and the relay turns on a ground for a/c..

Do you have a test lite to check it?..IT SHOULD BE "GROUND-ACTIVATED" but making sure with a test lite is always best
