Yeah I'll second that statement.^

I too was wanting to go with the 44 series but none of the local shops were carrying them when I got mine cause they were so new. I had one shop order it and the day it was supposed to come in he called me and said the Fed Ex guy drove by his shop and kept on goin..... so in my fit of rage I paid someone else to install a regular 40 series. I love it! It does have a slight drone at interstate speeds(70-80mph) but nothing a true hot rod enthusiast can't appreciate.

My only warning is be prepared to lose a small amount of torque, but gain a bit of top end.

This is great info! Does anyone run flowmastersin thenortheast in the salt? A local performance guy here told me that Flowmasters will only last 1-2 yrswith all of the road salt. He recommends Magnaflow - says its the best for the money, and he likes the way they fit.

Everyone is gonna tell you their opinion when it comes to that. Best bet is to get whichever local muffler shop you intend to do this to your truck to warranty both they're work and the product. I "think" Flowmaster also warranties they're muffler if you fill out the paperwork that comes with it and mail it to them.

I actually just called Flowmaster and the guy recommended I stick with my stock exhaust. He claims the HD with the 6.0 is extremely loud in the cab, even with the 50 series big block. Confusing.

Interesting. I just called Magnaflow and got the same story... bad drone in the cab on the HD's with the 6.0. I don't want to install something and hate it.... I may just skip the exhaust and buy a programmer.

I've had my flowmaster 50 now for two weeks. It is a single in/ dual out. It is louder inside than I thought it would be. At first I thought it was too loud, but now I love the rumble!!!
