I'm not too familiar with your trucks year, but the 99' model you can buy 100$ torsion keys that level the front end and then you can add 3" blocks with longer u-bolts on your axle. Thats what I did.

yeah I dont know too much about that. I will have to look into it. I am trying to stay away from going with the straight axle just because it would cost so much. If I had the money I would do it but I want to do a budget lift, or as much as I can.

you can go up to 3" blocks on the back, and a torsion key lift maxed out would almost level that out. or you could go 4" suspension lift, which usually comes with 2" blocks, or if it doesnt get your own blocks.

so basically, torsion key leveling kit or 4" suspension kit.

Ok thanks I didnt really want to have to do the keys because it will screw up the ride as well asI will be blowing throughball joints. Also a suspension lift is quite a bit of money. But I guess if you want a lift you have to suck it up. I just wasnt sure if there were any options that I wasnt aware of.

Does anyone know anything about repalcing the torsion keys? What does this do? Will it hurt anything like turning the keys up will do?

Ok so here it is. I am buying the Ready Lift torsion keys and 2-3" blocks in the rear. I talked to the guys at the shop in my town and they said that they intall 3-5 of these per week and that it is a really good set-up to go with. So I will be at $180 out the door for my parts. Ill post pics in couple of weeks when I get time to install it.
