Default Ford in a GM?

Can i put a Ford 350 engine into my 98 GM 1500? without swapping out the tranny or anything.. bolt up and go sorta deal

ford doesnt make a 350....they make a 351.... im sure the motor mounts are different... and the driveshaft will be different since it will be ford to a GM rear.. why the f would uw ant a ford anyway? too much work on the engines u gotta do...they put the dis, in the front...where do u think water goes when u go into a puddle? the front of the engine..horrible engines and design.. put a GM motor in it..it will all be the same..

No. You would have to change the trany as well.

No, you can't. Ford makes a 351 not a 350. The transmission will not be compatible either.

If you need a new motor, shop the junk yards online you should be able to find a low mile
5.3 on the cheap!
