They rock my bud works at one, he asked me for my vin# and checked it he said theres a few recalls on my truck and set me up with an appointment for tomorrow. Didnt ask what the recalls were he seamed kind of busy when he called me but ill find out in the morning. Hell im just happy to get some free work done on my truck from somewhere I can trust. I never let somebody work on my truck, if it gets messed up id rather be the one to do it.

 

I also have a friend @ our local dealership. I'm on a first name basis there. My friend is actually the Service Manager. They have used me very good in the past, plus i have a couple friends that should be working at a dealer but don't. Every little bit helps..... "Thats what the sailor said as he pissed overboard......"

 

I have a freind at a multi-brand dealership. One of those GMC, Buick, Hyndai, Volvo, Saab, VW, Porche, Audi, and whatever else they can squeeze in there. Im sure he will be able to find Silverado parts just fine. Do they get discounts on their GM certified bolt on stuff, like mud flaps? That would be nice!

 

Well I got some free tailgate cables and wheel speed sensor's. Free work and free parts I love it. Next im going to see if he'll get me a back up trans for free LOL!!!

 

Those were recalls on our trucks so they would have been free anyway....but I wish I know some buddys the worked at a dealership. Just a Ford dealership but doesnt really help me any.
