Default front door speakers

Got a question to see if anyone has had the same problem as I. I have a 2004 Silverado and when it feels like it with the key in the ignition the door/seat belt chimes will work and the front door speakers will work. I can drive to work and it no longer works. Is there a relay that I need to change. I did put a after market stereo in and used the adapter that was required for that to still work. Just to let ya all know the problem existed before the after market stereo. Any input would be great as I need to replace all 4 speakers. Thanks

The door chime shouldn't have anything to do with the speakers. The door chime relay (I am not sure it is an actual relay) is under the dash in the panel right in front of the E-Brake. While it's chiming you can stick you head down there and feel which one it is. It's the biggest one down there. For the speakers - that year and a few others have an issue with the speakers building up too much resistance over time and just quitting. I am sure if replace them the new ones will work fine.
