Front Hub Bearings and Speed Sensor
Howdy
I just changed out both my front hub bearings on my 03, Silverado 4x2. While I was in there I went ahead and changed out my rotors and pads. The bearings I bought came with the ABS/Speed sensor, however, one was damaged so I just used my original one that was on there. ( I bought em on Ebay and didn't want to go through the trouble of sending them back).
Now..just before I come to a complete stop, the ABS will kick in and pulsate just for a couple of seconds before stopping. I took the sensor back out, cleaned it, checked all the connections and everything looks good. It worked fine before changing out the bearings. Any Ideas what could be causing it?

RE: Front Hub Bearings and Speed Sensor
Are these Gm hubs?,...I don't think its the sensors themselves,as they will trip the Abs lite.
What its doing is the ebcm is "picking up" some wheel slip and activating abs...I think it may be due to an incorrect/damaged gap in the toothed ring inside the hub.

Nope..aftermarket hubs...I should have went ahead and spent the $250 on the GM ones....the ABS light and Service Brake Booster warning do come on occasionally since I changed out the hubs...in conjunction with the ABS kicking in.
