fuel filter bracket

Default fuel filter bracket

how do you get the fuel filter bracket off? somebody told me you have to havea special tool... my manual only says to remove it to change the filter, doesn't say how...

not sure what your calling the bracket?..the special tool is for flex fuel engines with quick-connects,but leave trhe leave the bracket on

i dont really know.... i was just completely confused... i guess a better question would be how do i get the fuel filter loose in my truck (besides unscrewing it from the lines)

I get a big screwdriver and try to force the rear line towards the rear of the truck...its tuff,but she'll move

it is on the frame under the door area,right?..not one up closer to the engine

Argon, your about the only technician I know of that has worked on cars for so long and goes home every night only to get on the computer and help people all night. That's commendable!

yeah its right below the fuel door pretty much, on the frame rail... i was thinking screwdriver, but i didn't want to break something lol
