I can't say anything about heat, it gets into the low 90's for a few days but stays in the mid to lower 80's up here. Im a polar bear tho, I love the cold weather. My current house has no driveway or garage and I'll still lay under it on a cold day to change the oil or fix something.

Problem with living in Pittsburgh PA is that it turns you into a polar bear and an alcoholic. (Nothing else to do around here. You either mess with mechanics all the time or drink). Good thing I love to work on my rig.

I haven`t used the Sea Foam in my engines yet....but the tranny/power steering stuff works wonders. I was skeptical, but a friend of mine (a GM mechanic) used it on his 1 ton with 4L80E tranny when he lost OD and got it right back. My 99 K2500 6.0 with 4L80E had a shudder going into OD. Not anymore.....and I only used 4 oz.

I've heard ALOT of good stories about Seafoam... Dad uses it, too. He has never had any problems and can always tell a difference after using it. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I haven't used it yet, but I'll probably use it soon on the wife's Cavalier...

Im curious about that too. I'd like to do something heavier duty in my trans and transfer case. What would be best?
