RE: gas mileage?
CBR600 *drool*
I had a Yammy R1 for about a year, then just after I dumped a good2K into it, some douchebag pulled out in front of me and I end up in the bed of his truck and my bike landed down an embankment. The only thing I could salvage off of it was my Leo Vince exhaust and my rear wheel. The rest was just crushed...
Anyways, yeah, 50mpg FTMFW!!!

RE: gas mileage?
Once you buy a full size truck, you give up the right to ask for better gas mileage. My friend has a 2007 Dodge hemi. He keeps complaining about gas, but he wants his hemi !!! If you want mileage buy a Toyota Prius.

RE: gas mileage?
I see you have received some good advice on improved fuel mileage for a big US built truck.
Had a friend with 5.3 liter motor say he got 2 to 3 mpg better by installing a K&N air filter and changing all fluids to synthetic. I do not know if this is true or not, but he said so and he was a gearhead.
Also, drive truck like you had a egg taped to fuel petal, slow easy starts will help. I understand that for every 5 mph over 55 you lose 1 mpg.
All this makes sence and if gas hits $4 this summer, my 2500 series Chevy will see more driveway time and the 1500 Drifter will see more highway time.
Drive safe,
