Default gas mileage

Has anyone tried this water for gas conversion. It takes hydrogen out of the water and burns it with gas??

Thanks
Mike

Well, we discussed the sh*t out of it but o no one has tried it. There are several different ways to pull it off though. For a four banger the investment is worth it but no one (that I have seen) has made a successful unit for a truck.

I am thinking of going another route, something simpler with less maintenance hopefully.

If Honda can do this, then GM and other US auto/truck builders can do this, if they would get their head out of their &*^%$.

Ok, so not all the trucks will have 350 hp and do 120 in a 1/4 mile, but hey ok by me if I can still have my truck and get good mileage.
I have always believed that a efficient turbo Diesel engine is the way to go and the technology is here. It would allow us big boys to still have a fair size truck vehicle, but one that would get good mileage.

No battery to charge or change out, at who knows what cost, after a few years.

Note: When gas gets to $5+ per gallon there will be some changes in our vehicle driving life style, at least there will be in mine. When it takes the noted soccer mom $100+ to fill her van, there is going to be a backlash at congress for setting on their dead butt, blaming each other for the problem and doing nothing.
When they think they will be voted out of office, you will see energy stuff (good/bad) start to happen.
Just my 2 cents!!

Honda has recently revealed their new Accord, powered by a super efficient DIESEL! Testing indicates a highway mileage of 69.9mpg! There is no requirement for a 'urea tank' as VW/Audi have outlined. The Honda will reduce carbon and nitrogen emissions with a simple catalytic converter.

The Accord Diesel blows all other mid/full size sedans off the road with its MPG! Cost? It is predicted to lie in the 'midrange' of all Accords.

Meh... still wouldn't buy it. If someone stuffed a 6+ liter turbo diesel under the hood of an all wheel driveChrysler 300, I'd definitely buy one.Diesel = teh sex, Chrysler 300 = teh sex, Diesel + AWD 300 = Teh greatest car EVAR!!!!!

so that whole hydrogen thing, i was in the market for a celica, so i decided to join a forum and learn about it. right now i drive a 2001 silverado, and i learned that the people on that forum built a hydrogen tank that runs off of the battery creating hydrogen from water, and i have the plans for what the built, the only complicated part is changing the ecu to run differently off of the added hydrogen, so yea its possible on the 4 bangers, but it could also work on our v8s

For adjusting the V8 for hydrogen....You have to lean out the fuel mixture and advance the timing. This can be done with a Predator which are on sale this summer all over the internet.

I bought the manual and website access. Parts are numerous and detailed but I am collecting everything I need for two conversions. You can have it professionally done for about $500 but I want to know the process so I'm doing it myself. Go to www.water4gas.com and check it out. There are many hundreds of successful conversions done and the technology is sound.
