Default gearing question

so i have a 4.8 ext cab 4x4. 4l60e tranny and im puttin 33's on it. she has 32's right now and it dogs her so when i go 33's im gonna regear. i know the formula old tire?new tie times new gear equals true ratio but. straight up what would be a good gear with those tires and my little engine. im thinkin 4.10s but i drive to cali alot. dont want to sacrafice to much mpg and she def needs some help towing. i have a 18 ft bayliner and it struggles up and down hills. so what do you think?

3.73 is a good gear to be able to tow and accelerate without giving up MPG.

then 4.10s would be a pretty good option i think 4.56 would be a little overkill tho.

The TQM will seem much more limiting with bigger tires. That might be what you are feeling, with the stuggling and all.

yeah if you already have 3.73s id go 4.10... 4.56 would definitely be overkill with 33s though

33s shouldn't be making it struggle tho, just a little slower.
