right now ive got the stock 2.73 and it sucks, obviously. so anything is an imporvment. i dont need anything too big because im not towing anything. im lowering the truck soon (18s and lower profile tires)and its only going to be a daily driver to school.

whats the best place to buy a complete set?

OK, so now you may have a different story. If you are lowering the truck, you will probably be going to smaller tires. That tire diameter is very important in this decision.

PUT 3:73!!! GIVES YOU GREAT PERFORMANCE AND WORKS GREAT ON THE HIGHWAY AND ITS NOT BAD ON GAS.....4:10 ARE FOR 1/4 MILE RUNS AND BAD ON GAS AND NOT GOOD ON DA HIGHWAY. I WENT FROM 3:43 TO 3:73 AND LOVE IT

But again it depends on the tire size you plan to run. So what tire size?

well i was looking at going with 32" tires originally but thats a big jump from stock so i might go with 30-30.5" what would be a good option for me?

since you have an overdrive, I would go 3.73 for power, 4.10 for a ton of power ( but will hurt milage). No lower that 3.42 if you want to have decentpower. 3.23-3.42 will be a good all around for you. If it were me, I would go 3.42 I was worried about milage, 3.73 if not.

You will probably get better mileage, since you will be back in your power band instead of below it.
