Gibson Super Truck Exhaust
Hey all, does anyone have any personal experience with Gibson's Super truck Exhaust systems? Just wondering how loud these are and if you noticed any low end torque loss...the site claims and increase in torque and HP but hell, it wouldn't be a selling point if they didn't talk the product up
Here's the site I'm referencing: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...57999_-1_11271
thanks!

RE: Gibson Super Truck Exhaust
My wife has the Gibson Sport series on her '02 Avalanche, which is same as the super truck series, w/o the square tips. Shes not one for loud or should i say aftermarket exhaust, but i would have given my right arm for it on my truck but they wanted about $400.00 to swap her exhaust on my truck and my exhaust on her truck, so in about 2-3 weeks, i'm getting my own catback system, with a Flowmaster series 50 muffler. Her truck is just right for my liking. Its not loud, but it rumbles when accellerating, and has that different tone when you start it up. If not for price, i'd put a Gibson exhaust on in a heartbeat, but its cheaper to have a shop bend the pipe, and use a Flowmaster muffler. My exhaust is costing me $400.00, with exhaust exiting straight out the back, with chrome tips and 2.5" pipe. Hers has a nice sound to it, she has the 5.3L engine in her Av.
