I just thought I would let you know, but if you get the extended cab and the 8ft bed then you will most likely not be able to get it in the garage. We owned two Ex-cab trucks and now a crew cab and I cannot beleive the difference. I don't care if you have kids or not, it is always great to be able to fit my 6' 4" frame in the backseat of a truck with plenty of legroom and a ton of inner storage. I would personally get a crew cab with a 6' 6" bed**** just because that is about the perfect size and it fits inside the garage with 2" to spare!!!!!!!!!!!

getting the xcab with std bed (6 1/2 ft bed) 8 ft is long bed.never liked 4 door pickups. dont have a garage so that is not a problem. getting the 5.3 with the active fuel managment ,remote start,power sliding rear window,tailgate package,

have you thought about the 6.0 motor or the all terrain package?
ive heard the all terrain pacakge (not just the z-71 package) looks really nice, but no one around here has gotten any in for me to look at.
