got my tbs...
WHAT A PAIN IN THE NECK!!! If you haven't already done the throttle body coolant bypass mod, this is a royal pain in the butt to install. It has gained some power and gas mileage remains unseen until the next time I leave town. I think half of the power I got may be due to just cleaning the throttle body. That thing was really nasty. Had carbon built up around butterfly. Ended up taking alcohol and cutips/rag and scrubbing the throttle body till it was sorta clean. That must be why people often get the sticking accelerator problem.
Despite the difficulties, I am impressed that a slab of metal made a difference. Seems like the exhaust tone changed too. Not sure why but it definitely did. Good luck to whoever tries this mod.

Yeah it was a pain in the neck, huh? Especially with the cable bracket relocation kit. I had to cut the sh*t out of my plactic intake cover to get it to fit right too. (Unless I did it wrong, LOL)

RE: got my tbs...
my instructions did not include anything at all about what do do with the cable relocator bracket... i was cranking my truck at half throttle for an hour trying to figure out what was wrong... i was superpissed, and i sent an email to trans dapt asking what to do with the bracket, and the guy responded "i do not understand the question. please rephrase."
not sure how that fit in, just wanted to vent... and yeah the tbs is a fairly large pain to install
