The guy I bought it from said that one night he raced his buddy with a 85 monte carlo SS high output and he absolutly destroyed the monte carlo by 7 or 8 lengths!!!!!! And that was in a half ton truck.

That's cause the Monte Carlo SS has a honken monster 305...... They are sexy and I love em but they are not fast at all! Course the 454 will still be fast.
