RE: grinding/rattling noise
ok so i was cleaning my truck and found a new clue to my problem....i was standing in the bed and had my truck on...when i put all my weight in a certain spot in the bed, it rattled...since i had my truck on could it be an exhaust pipe hitting the bottom of the bed maybe? i have to take a clsoer look, but im getting close to finding out what the hell it is!!!

RE: grinding/rattling noise
Take a smallball pienhammer and wrap it in a rag and go around under the bottom of your truck and tap on anything that you think could make that noise also shake your pipes and see if there is any thing they are hitting or rubbing on. The rag is just to lower the ting sound and help prevent the hammer from scratching and denting the stuff that you tap on. Make sure that your truck is on level ground and turned off. Once you find what is making the noise then turn the truck on and figure out what is making it do the noise so that you can fix it.
