Hard Start After Engine's Warm!!??
I have a 2001 Chevy 5.3 with 172,000 on it. Only ONE problem with it, truck fires up easily when cold but when i stop for short amounts of time after the engine's warm, i have to crank the engine usually twice and it fires up. Or I can cycle the pump a few times and it fires up. It smells a litte rich when it fires likewise.
To throw a hitch into my problem, when the engines warm and it sits for a couple of hours, it usually fires up with no issues.
I changed my plugs and plug wires at 160,000.... I change my fuel filter every 20,000.... I run Lucas injector cleaner every other month or so...
My FPR doesn't leak when the pressure hose is pulled off....
My Gas Gauge is doing the notorious empty to full thing....
If you know what this may be, I will sit here and listen!
Thanks,
Brad
