Headers back
I'm waiting on some pace setter 1.5 to 2.5 at containment black finish headers and 2 new SS catalytic convertors and an H-Pipe. I ran the truck without the O2 sensors in. straight headers. Will I have to reflash or will it reboot itself once I install these parts? also, are any of those cheap home mods even worth it? i don't feel like burning up a tranny. another question if anyone has put exhaust on an 05'. mine's a crew cab shortwide and there's no room on the driver side because of the fuel tank to run pipes. i'm doing true duals with electric cutouts. i was thinking super 44 flows tucked in on the right side. they are only 4 inches thick. i bet i could squeeze two up there.. any ideas or past experiences? trying to eliminate back pressure and get all that low end torque. seems like everyone has that problem. right off the line. high rpm's it's great but really sluggish right off the bat.

they sent the wrong headers after I argued with the guy at Jeg's about it. These have the air injection on the manifold. 2005 doens't have that. On the online catalog it says for year's 1999-2004 and on my e-mail invoice it says 1999-2006 and mine's an 05. I sent the H-pipe back. I'm keeping the SS cats. they are going on as well as the sensors back to their respective homes. I had got the whole lot. new headers, new pipe, 2 muffler, dumps and electric cutouts. it's all going back now. boo hoo. wife got pissed off. I bought a new 1600 dollar ESP guitar too. so it was guitar or exhaust. i choose guitar. I can slowly add them on later and I can go ahead and pre shape my exhaust to be able to fit it all when the time come also. so it's back to y-pipe and factory header and muffler now. gay.
