So I got my Edelbrock headers on today.Man if u dnt have the right tools this will be very hard 2 do I learned the hard way.I had to take my truck over to a dads friend who is a mechanic to help me out with them.I stripped 2 of the nuts on the exhaust pipe trying to remove them.It took about 2 hours to finish.Sounds a little beefier,throttle response is better.Next is a custom dyno tune.

 

I'm gald you liked them. I was wondering how much of a difference there would be with just the headers. I did mine and my intake at the same time, so I couldn't tell how much difference each made. You will really notice big gains in the top end.
How did you do your exhaust? Single in dual out or true duals?

 

After the headers I did feel noticeable gains.I think they made a little more difference then the intake.My exhaust is single in dual out.

 

Man see now i need to get my headers. Just cant decided if i want long tubes or shorties.

 

I think you probably want long tubes if you can find a good brand. But it really depends on where you want the power. Off the line long, above 2500 rpm short.

 

I love the way my truck sounds now a Poweraid Spacer,Exhaust and Headers is a killer combo.
