heater/ac blower quit suddenly

Default heater/ac blower quit suddenly

i got a 2006 3/4 ton 4x4...dual climate and all one day the heater and ac work...blows air...next day...nothing..does not work on 1,2,3,4 or 5 any suggestions?

Blower resistor under the glovebox.

Check the fuse and relay first. Fifth speed does not have a resistor. Still could be the resistor board though. Later! Frank

thx again...it was the resistor...and looks like the fan motor had been replaced already

well replaced resistor...although it was bad...still nothing...one guy said fuse and relay....which one...which fuse...the 40 amp one in the engine compartment that's marked blower?

How was the wiring going to the resistor? There is a bulletin about the wiring going to the resisitor getting too hot and melting the plug. Chevy offers a harness that has thicker wire that you just splice in about a foot of wire before the plug. Real quick and easy job. Unplug yours and look to see if it is burned.
