No, tx_cowboy911, I think you are right. I did like Argon said and felt the two lines running into the heater core when I got home from work. They were both hot. I think that I just forgot how long it took to warm up this past week since the weather has been warm lately. Then when it got cold again I didn't realize how long it took to warm up. Well I am glad I didn't go with a 160 stat.

I think I will flush the cooling system out in the fall anyway to be safe. By then I'll have around 90K or so on the clock anyways.

yeah definetly did not have to take the whole dash off, wasnt too bad of a job the hardest part was getting the clamps off the radiator hoses. Thanks for all the help.
