Help!!
Ok, guys I need some experts on this one. I've done about all I can do. I've got a 2000 Silverado 2wd w/100,000 miles and the other day she just quit here in the yard. Thought maybe the fuel pump, so dropped tank and wired it to a 12 volt and it works. Then after some searching online I thought maybe the crank sensor.....removed that and put it on my dad's truck and it cranked-so crank sensor is good. Here's the weird thing: When switched on fuel pump dose not come on, no fire at spark plug either. Hooked a scanner up and says "error". Is it the computer??? Or what? Whatever it is it's causing the truck not to fire and fuel pump not to work. What can it be? Thanks for all the imput.

Okay, so it isn't the same ignition control module I'm thinking of .. sorry man, I have no clue then.
If it were an old style SBC engine, then the module I'm talking about would've fixed it.
Good luck!

Help
Hey Ghost, Thanks for the reply....... yes the engine turns over freely and when the key is turned I should have the fuel pump coming on but nothing....... and no fire. I agree it sounds like a module/relay in box under hood but the only one that has anything to do with ignition I switched with the daytime running lights relay (which are all the same) and still nothing. What am I missing? Thanks.
