im a pipeline surveyor and i follow the work wherever it takes me nationwide. right now im working in Arkansas and let me tell you this place sucks ***.

okok guys we need to differentiate here... yall are talking about the hills in arkansas... im from the delta, and we aint doin nun that thurr inbreedin... and we all got at least fo teeth in our mouf

lol. The pipeline route im surveying goes from around Conway down to the Helena/Tunica, MS area. I have met alot of interesting people from all over the region, and i have come to the conclusion that they are all equally hillbilly-ish and wierd. The only difference is that it gets darker the further south you go, if you know what i mean. (im not racist tho....well maybe only a little)

They have already found huge amounts of natural gas in Arkansas. Now the problem is transporting it places where it can be used, which is where my company comes in. Texas Gas Corporation (just the name, they are not actually in Texas, go figure) hires a survey company to go out on foot and gather data for the proposed route with GPS to actually build a 166 mile arterial 36" steel pipeline that will carry the gas to various interconnects and smaller branching pipelines that will eventually deliver the gas to homes and businesses for use.
