How do I program a new throttle body for my 2003 Chevy Silverado?

Default How do I program a new throttle body for my 2003 Chevy Silverado?
The dealer wants to charge me 80$ fo this service. Can I do it my self and avoid the cost?

Program a throttle body???? Install it and go.

so I would just install it, plug it in and it's done?

No programming is required for a TB on an 03 silverado?

Is it drive by wire or does it have cables going to it?

It has the plug on the side. It is electronicly controled to regulate the idle speed.

Ok my bad then maybe it does. I haven't messed with any drive by wire trucks yet.

No problem.

Any idea where I might look to see if I can do it my self? I have had some people say that it's as ease as install, reattach the batt. and start and drive it 3 times for 15 min intervols.
