how do i remove my grill on my chevy 99 silverado (newer model)

Default how do i remove my grill on my chevy 99 silverado (newer model)

there are these plastic bolt like things and you can't screw them off. does anyone know how i could remove them so i can't get the grill off??? thanks.

On the top there are two bolts that just come right off with the proper size wrench or socket. I believe they are on the mid-left and mid-right on top of the plastic piece when you open the hood. Will check later to see if thats right.

I fyou are talking about the plastic screws that hold down the plastic covers, just slip a flat blade in to the side of the plastic screw and pry them up a little they should pop up and then you can remove them. after that the grill should just be clipped in with the metal clips. just becareful when you pull them out.

yea, thats right. I replaced the grille on mine at the same time my friend with an older model replaced his, and I was mixing the two together... but yea popo is right
