How much clearance?
I'm getting an '87 chevy silverado and I want to slap some 37's on it with a 350. If I have 6 inch suspension with 1.5 inch lift shackles, am I going to be able to clear 37's with ease? if not how much trimming would be required or what else can I get to for clearance besides a 3 inch body
I don't want to halfway scrap my truck, I still want her to look good
thanks for the help!

Depends on more variables.
Uses of truck, tire width, rim width and rim offset.
Brother in-law had a '80s long box GM with 8" of spring lift running 35s and they still hit. Tires were 15x35-15 Swamper TSLs on 15x14 rims with very little offset. When turning over uneven terrain they would hit the back of the wheel well opening on the fenders. I had 15x38-16.5s on 16.5x9.75 rims with factory offset installed on a Blazer with 6" suspension and 3" body and rubbed a little on hard core impacts.
