Anyone know how much a 9 inch suspension lift would cost on a chevy z71?

 

Hey man, it all depends on what kind of lift you want to get. If you get a decent lift you can expect to spend around 3,000 bucks. What size lift do you have on right now? Man, on less you plan on going through some crazy obstacles, I wouldn't go no higher than 6". I rode in a F-250 with a 12" lift and it rode like crap. Not to mention that he got around 8mpg! yeah a 6 and 3 would be a cheaper way to go but its your truck

actually come to think of it i dont know that i've ever heard of a 9" suspension... usually its 4 6 or 8... you could do 8 and a leveling kit and have 9 to 10...

 

Wouldn't a 9" susp lift be something like for 44's or bigger? Man, many years ago, my buddy had an older Jeep CJ-5, and had the springs ABOVE the axles, with 44's and that thing was scary to ride in, it leaned alot. He had the stock 232 CID straight 6 in it, and in 2WD, if he butted his front tires up against a rock or curb or anything, and then tried to take off, yep, he'd twist his driveshaft everytime. On the tailgate, he had airbrushed "Officially Roll Tested" and on each side of his hood was " Untamed Beast". It was a looker but rode like a baby buggy. The 44's were Gumbo Monster Mudders. nah, 9" would only clear around 38s maybe 39s... add a 3" body to that and some big backspace wheels and you could probably get 44s

 

yeh id say around 3,000. ive got a friend with an 04 silverado with an 8inch and 39s and it rides like ****. 9 inches is pretty big for the truck you have. i have the same truck you do, color and all, except mines an 02. i dont think itd ride decent at all. its your truck though.
