Default hypertech programmer? good or bad?

So I just recently did some research on a programmer and our local store was having a sale so i ended up buying one. Has anyone ever used on a chevy?

Thanks
Brad

I have on my 2001 5.3 and didnt notice very much, but I will say if you use it, put a cooler t-stat in there to get the full potential. Other than that its only good for gear and tire changes. Helps the tranny shift firmer too but you can do that with a 20 dollar servo.

Hand held Hypertech for me was a big disappointment, but i had the older Hypertech. Now maybe the new Hypertech is better. My Superchips Flashpaq is a lot better in my opinion. My next step is a tune. So my Superchips Flashpaq will be up for sale. If interested pm me.
