Default I need help with a Stabilitrak issue

I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 5.3L V8, with just over 50k miles on it. Twice now when taking a curve on the road I get a warning bell and my dash says my stabilitrak was turned off. First time it happened I was braking in a curve approching a red light and all the sudden brake was applied more and my rpms lowered out of the blue and I got the warning. After the light turned green i had a faint high winding noise that would change along with the RPMs, this lasted the rest of my trip home from work. The same thing happened again yesterday while taking a curve, only it didn't apply brake or lower the RPM, but the rest was the same. Please not that both times this happened i wasn't going too fast to handle the turn. What is wrong??

thanks,
