That is amazing gas mileage for a 5.3! It really depends on how you drive it. I always say when I fill up I'm going to take it easy and see what kind of mpg I can get on a tank, but then someone wants to race or I goose it, you know the deal.

The best I ever got was on the way to Galveston, TX. Drove around Shreveport for about 75 miles, then hit the highway, made it there, and drove around town for a while, got 500 miles before a fill up. Now that I've got the tbs, hope to see better next time.

I've been getting that milage since I got my truck and I'm not really one to get on it all the time either. My cousin has the same truck but a 2005 and he gets 13 to 14's he said his best has been 15. I've heard people say they've gotten milage like yours smoke but I can't say I've seen it. The same way is with the 6.0. My dad had one before his durmax and he would on a good day see 12 with it. And the dealship said people normally get 15 to 16 with it. So needless to say that went down the road.

Remember, with tires that big, you need to have your speedometer recalibrated, or your fuel mileage reading is going to be off.

Ok my mods aren't showing up for some reason. The tires are the same rolling diameter as the factory's.

Does anyone know how to decrease the size of a picture? I'm trying to upload a picture of my truck for my profile, but it says it is to large. By the way, the truck looks really nice benpfeil!

I haven't ran a whole tank through yet with my recent mods so we'll see what those bring though. But for some reason the weather decided to drop back down to 20's up here! Damn Minnesota!
